Planning in Progress:
With limited ice time, we're currently working on team sizes, number of teams, fall camp start dates, tryouts, and practice schedules. Once finalized, we’ll share all details with our members!
- Registration closes August 31, 2025.
- Registration payments can only be paid online. There are payment options available.
- Please ensure your Respect in Sport - Parent is current, Respect in Sport Certification will expire on May 1st; 4 years after completing it. https://hockeyalbertaparent.respectgroupinc.com/

FIRST time players in Minor Hockey, complete the below steps.
Step 1: Create a Hockey Canada(HCR) Number, Click here for instruction on hot to create a HCR Number: Creating-an-HCR-Number. ****Please select St. Paul Minor Hockey Association under Organization selection****
Step 2: Complete the Respect in Sport (RIS) Parent Course. Please ensure you select St. Paul as your home association; you will need your HCR number to link Respect in Sport.
- If your new player has an older sibling that has or is playing hockey you can add them to your Respect in Sport Profile under Child Management. https://hockeyalbertaparent.respectgroupinc.com/
Step 3: Complete the Online Parent Declaration Form. You will need the following prior to completing the form; Be sure to include registrar.spmha@gmail.com in the Minor Hockey Association Submission field:
- One piece of identification (e.g., birth certificate, passport) is used to verify the birth year for each player.
- One piece of mail (e.g., utility bill, phone bill, driver's license) is used for address verification. Confidential details can be blacked out; we need proof of address.
- Players' HCR number that was created in the respect in the sports portal.
Step 4: Email Bailey at registrar.spmha@gmail.com when the above steps are complete.

Moving to St. Paul Minor Hockey from another Hockey Association within Alberta. You must first complete Hockey Alberta's Player Movement Form.
Step 1. Complete A Player Movement Form.
Step 2. Forward the completed Player Movement Form to Bailey at registrar.spmha@gmail.com
Step 3. You will receive further registration instructions from St. Paul Minor Hockey when the transfer is approved.
Moving to St. Paul Minor Hockey from another Hockey Association outside Alberta. You must first complete Hockey Alberta's Parent Declaration Form.
Step 1. Complete Parent Declaration Form, please place registrar.spmha@gmail.com in the "Email address of the MHA for which the player is registering"
Step 2. Email Bailey at registrar.spmha@gmail.com when form completed, you will receive further registration instructions from St. Paul Minor Hockey when the transfer is approved.
Equipment for your child will ensure that they can play the game correctly, and more importantly, safely. Your child’s safety is paramount to them enjoying the game and is a top priority of sanctioned hockey.
